In 2013 the Gol Iluminado Foundation “Indigenous Games” initiative won the prestigious “Sport Event Of The Year" Award from the world renowned Peace and Sport Organization, which works under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. As a result of our efforts, the Congress of Chile passed the "Elias Figueroa Sports Law", to recognize Indigenous Sport as Official Sport of the Interational Olymipc Comtitee.
